And the Winner Is..........

Thank you to everybody who spread the word, liked my items and entered the competition.
It took us a while to figure out a cool way for the bunnies to pick the winning entry.
(They love being involve do our rabbits)
Like they say never work with animals or children and it took us ages to get Joey to do what we wanted.
Typical.....

All the entrants names were written on pieces of paper and folded up
(Hand model in the making me ;)

Said pieces of paper were then placed into a circle

Joey's favourite toy was stuffed full of treats and placed in the middle of the circle.
It is one of those balls that has an opening so when rolled the treats fall out which are then quickly gobbled up!

The beast was unleashed to do the business

He took his time investigating the situation

Then got bored

Started getting the hang of it

And finally rolled the ball onto the winning name!

So without further adieu
The winner is........

Hearts and Cupcakes!!

Congratulations!

If you can email me at catsceramics@gmail.com with your address and which necklace you would like to receive
I will send it in the post to you right away.

Thank You for entering and hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine!
All the Best x

Hope is the thing....

Emily Dickinson's poetry is relatively new to me and I have found her words a huge inspiration. I am having the best of times exploring her works and find it amazing such a treasure was hidden for such a time. This specific poem is featured in some of my most recent work which I will share with you as soon as the pieces are finished. I hope they come out good :)
I hope everyone is having a good week so far and are feeling just a bird in flight

Give Away Time!

I thought it was about time I had a Give Away here on my blog as a thank you to all my readers, followers, customers and fans who make this blog and job a joy to do, who actively engage and contribute their ideas and opinions and make writing this blog feel worthwhile and relevant. It's nice to know I'm not just talking to myself! :)

Up for grabs is your choice of one of my Wild Meadows Ceramic Pendant necklaces.
Each pendant is individually impressed with real plant matter that I have either grown myself or found out and about in the Sussex countryside. Each one is handmade and coloured with recycled glass so no two are ever the same and highly unique and individual.

To be in with a chance of winning
Please leave a comment on my blog to show that you have entered and done any or all of the following:
  • If you are on either Folksy or Etsy please favourite my shop and add me to your circle
  • Have a look at either my Folksy Shop or Etsy Shop and let me know which of the necklaces you would like to receive and what is your favourite item from my shop
  • Post about my Give Away on your blog and send a link to here
  • Put your name down for my soon to be mailing list (please add the email address you would like me to send the mail to)
Each point counts as one entry so you can increase your chances of winning by doing all four!
And if there is lots of entries I will give away two Wild Meadow necklaces!
Open for all entries worldwide!

A winner will be chosen at random by one of the bunnies on the 25th March.
Plenty of time to enter so please let your family and friends know.

Good Luck!
And Thank You!

For Mum x

Hello to our new recruits Jennifer Rhodes and Diane Puckett! :)

Just a quick one today but I will be posting again shortly for the Give Away! Where I will be giving away a item of my handmade ceramics to one of my lovely readers (check back soon to be in with a chance of winning)

Newly listed Mother's Day items on my Folksy Shop
Click on the photo for more info

I don't know if it's a common thing but in my family we used to give my Grandma's gifts on Mother's Day too and these ceramic garden markers are strong and durable and great for brightening up a flower bed or plant border.
Made from stoneware clay with a personal touch and sure to last a lot longer than a bunch of fresh flowers.
Having said that they could even be added into a bouquet so once the flowers have inevitably died Mum has something special to keep forever.

Thanks for looking x See you back soon x
