2013 in Review

I'd like to wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This last year has been amazing!!
Personal wise we had some awfully sad news earlier in the year but things are getting better and gratefully, as a family we spent some lovely time all together and ended the year on a high note.

For Cat's Ceramics it has been my best year yet and I'm just so thankful to everybody that has helped make it so!

Without wanting to appear self indulgent I thought it might be nice to go over a few highlights and high points of the last year.
It can be difficult sometimes when you're working really hard to look at what you are achieving and see how far you are really getting.

In 2013 I gained an amazing 5 new stockists!

Cambridge Contemporary Crafts
Heart Gallery
Studio 61 Gallery
Maker's Boutique Cornwall
The Old Stores, Rydon

I took part in a whopping 24 events and exhibitions

Including: The Brighton Fishing Quarter Gallery
May Open Houses at Sixes & Sevens and Borderline Studios
Lewes Artwave at Driftwood Gardens and Stafford Road Artists
Weald & Downland Christmas Market

And my regular spot at the Maker's Boutique in Brighton

I visited one of my favourite places in the world and gained huge inspiration:

Cat's Ceramics ranges grew to include:

Tree Trunk Vases

Flower Bowls

Ginkgo Wears

The Butterfly Cups really came into there own this year as the biggest selling item in galleries

Online the Little Leaf Bowls sold more than any other with Teal Colour being the runaway favourite!

I am super proud to have my work included in the Southern Ceramics Group Summer Exhibition at Chichester Cathedral

I got to be part of a wonderful couple's most special day with 80 customised Plant Marker Wedding Favours!

And best of all I got to continue doing what I love -
creating art and people liking it!
Thank you to every single person who has helped me this year
